Zanetto Civil were engaged by TasWater to complete a range of pump and pipework replacements at the Horsehead Creek SPS Pumpstation site due to deterioration of the existing infrastructure.

The project required detailed planning and execution for the duration of the works due to large pumpstation inflows. These were managed via a 3-pump temporary bypass system which was supplied and installed by Pinnacle Hire.

The works included installation of pipework and valving up to DN450, HDPE welding, pump installation, benching and wet well alterations with the assistance of Sicc services, cut-ins and commissioning.
